Conditions for the Call for Trainers and Speakers
The workshop topics for talks and training can be focused on most cybersecurity topics

Talks- Talks should relate to recent research, development, or current trends.
- Duration: 30-45 minutes.
- Ideally, content should be public/open, allowing for sharing or streaming (for archival purposes); however, restricted content visible only during the talk is also acceptable.
- Demos and interactive content are highly encouraged.
Training- Training should be practical and hands-on
- Duration: 3 hours (preferred), 6hs (2 blocks of 3s), 1hs (workshop style), 2hs,
- Labs should be easily deployable and set up e.g., online lab, virtual machine, containers, etc.

Speaker/Trainer benefits and perks
As a speaker or trainer, The Honeynet Project offers the following support to facilitate your participation in the workshop.
- Reimbursement for flight ticket up to some amount to be defined.
- Accomodation up to 3 nights at the conference hotel.
- Lunch on days of the conference and social dinner on first day (Monday)

Tickets
Please register for the conference so that we have name tags ready for you.
Travel & Accommodation
You are reponsible to organize your own travel and accommodation.
Let us know if you have special Visa requirements or any other general requirements.

Speaking & Training logistics
The following equipment will be available at the conference venue for briefings:
- One video projector (4:3 screen format)
- A computer system to display PDF presentations. Please let us know before the event if you would like to use your own computer to do live demonstrations, show videos, etc. so that we can make sure everything works.
- A headset microphone system
On the day:
- Please let the organizers know that you are in the venue.
- You need to be in the room ten minutes before the session begins to be fitted with a headset microphone.
- You will be introduced with your name, title of presentation, and some details from your biography. Please let us know if you would like us to mention something specific.
- At the end of your talk, please let the audience know if you would like to receive questions on stage or if you prefer to be approached in the next lunch/coffee break. If you would like to take questions on stage, please end your presentation five minutes before close time.
Reimbursements
If you speak or train at the Honeynet Workshop, the Honeynet Project can reimburse part of the travel and accommodation expenses:
- We kindly ask you to check if your employer can cover travel costs so that we can provide others with financial aid where necessary.
If your company can sponsor your travel, we are happy to list them as a supporter on our sponsors page.
- For travel, we will reimburse a roundtrip flight from your location in economy class. Please book as early as possible.
- For accommodation, we will reimburse expenses up to some amount to be defined (typically up to EUR 300€ for speakers and EUR 450€ for trainers.)
We will also reinburse complete three nights in a room at the conference hotel.
- We want you to enjoy your trip to Prague, so you are of course welcome to add some vacation before/after the conference,
add extra layovers, combine trips, or fly your favorite airline in business class if you cover the additional cost in each of these cases.
- We're all volunteers and trust you to be fair here.
- Please don't book a tight last-minute connection, we don't want you to miss your talk/training.
- Directly after the event, we will provide you with instructions on where to send your receipts to get reimbursed.
- If prepaying travel expenses is difficult for you, please let us know and we are happy to help.
- We will try to reimburse you in your local currency using Honeynet's Wise account.
Please state the amounts of local currency that have actually left your bank account and not some other conversion rate.
